Cutie Beauty’s came to Ellis Signs wanting an external sign for their salon based in Blaydon. We were excited about this project, especially as it so local to us! The branding of Cutie Beauty’s is modern and feminine, so we loved incorporating these elements into the signage. Keep reading to see how we designed, manufactured and installed this sign…

DESIGN

The first step of manufacturing the signage was designing a visual. Our designers came up with a few different ideas, incorporating various elements from the branding provided. Out of the two visuals shown above, our customer ended up going for the second option which includes all capitalised letters, and a mix of white and gold acrylic lettering.

MANUFACTURE

This sign has a few different manufacturing elements which really helped to bring the finished product together. We used a pink powder coated folded aluminium panel and attached acrylic letters to the face. The acrylic letters were cut using our CNC router and then we applied gold and white vinyl to the faces of the letters. We attached the acrylic letters to the panel using stand off locators to create a 3D effect.

INSTALL

The external signage was installed by our qualified and experienced fitting team. Our sign fitters are all equipped with CSCS, PASMA and IPAF cards. The finished sign looked incredible and truly helped to transform the exterior of the salon, tying in all of the branding. Check out the signage being fitted here!
