Stylish, Chic & Built to Last: Interior Signage for The Camden Clinic

When The Camden Clinic– a brand-new aesthetics clinic- approached us for signage, we knew straight away that the final product needed to be both elegant and timeless, in keeping with the interior’s minimal, high-end aesthetic.

At Ellis Signs, we pride ourselves on combining craftsmanship with care, and this project was no exception. From initial enquiry through to installation, we worked closely with the client to ensure their vision came to life.

The Enquiry & Survey

The process began with an enquiry from The Camden Clinic, who had a clear vision for their reception signage. The client supplied their brand logo and had a strong idea of how they wanted the space to feel.

To kick things off, the customer provided us with exact measurements of the reception desk. Correct measurements allowed us to plan the design and ensure correct sizing and proportions for a flawless fit. Getting this right from the start saves time later and ensures the final sign complements the space rather than overpowering it.

Design & Layout

With the dimensions in hand and the logo files provided, our design team got to work. The logo itself was strong and elegant, which gave us a great starting point. Our focus was on refining the placement and spacing of the lettering to create the perfect visual balance.

Flat cut lettering has to be correctly positioned- especially on a textured background in order to maintain legibility and impact. We sent over a few layout variations to the client for approval, experimenting with alignment and spacing until we landed on the most visually appealing design.

Manufacture

Once the design was signed off, we brought it to life with flat cut matt black acrylic. The acrylic delivers a sharp, contemporary look. Each letter was fitted with nylon locators. Using nylon locators allows the letters to be stood off from the wall for added depth and subtle shadowing.

The materials we used are not just visually striking- they’re also durable and easy to maintain. This makes them perfect for a high-traffic area like a reception space.

The finished sign is a great example of how signage can enhance and elevate an interior. It adds sophistication and structure to the front desk, blending effortlessly with the calming palette of the clinic. We’re proud to have played a small part in the creation of such a stunning space.
