October Highlights
October has been an incredibly busy and rewarding month for #teamellis. From high-end retail refurbishments to the creation of sleek, modern signage for new coffee spots, we’ve been hard at work bringing creative concepts to life. From face illuminated signs to LED neon signs, here’s a look back at some of the standout projects we’ve been involved in this month!
White Stuff – Built Up Face Illuminated Letters
One of our favourite projects this month was the installation of signage for the new White Stuff store in Teesside. The store features a set of stunning, built-up face-illuminated rim and return letters, which were carefully fixed to an aluminum rail. This design not only offers a modern and sleek look but also ensures that the sign is highly visible, even in low light. The completed store looks absolutely incredible, and we’re proud to have contributed to making it stand out as a signature location for White Stuff. It’s always a thrill to be involved in projects like this, where our work helps enhance the customer experience and brings a brand’s identity to life.
Moss Store Refurbishment – Metrocentre
Next up, we had the pleasure of working on the refurbishment of the Moss store at the Metrocentre. Moss is known for its high-quality menswear, and we were excited to create signage that matched the brand’s timeless elegance. For this project, we manufactured a striking grey powder-coated folded aluminium panel with face illumination. The result is a sophisticated, clean design that not only enhances the store’s overall look but also reinforces Moss’ commitment to quality and tradition. It’s always a rewarding challenge to help elevate a brand’s presence, and we’re thrilled with how this project turned out.
One Eleven Coffee Shop – Gosforth
A new coffee shop opening in Gosforth was another highlight of October! We were tasked with manufacturing the signage for One Eleven, and the result is truly a work of art. The sign features a green powder-coated folded aluminium panel, with push-through opal acrylic and face-applied gold ACM for a classy touch. The sign is internally illuminated, ensuring it looks as inviting at night as it does during the day, and the projecting sign adds an extra layer of charm. The elegant design perfectly matches the cozy, upscale branding of One Eleven, and we’re confident it will draw in coffee lovers from all over Newcastle.
LED Neon Signs
October saw a surge in demand for our LED neon signs, and we’ve been thrilled to work on several exciting designs. Notable projects include custom signs for Hummel and Ward Hadaway, each featuring bold, vibrant LED lighting. Our most popular colours this month have been pink and cool white, which we’ve seen more and more of in assembly, particularly as we head into November. LED neon signs continue to be a popular choice for businesses looking to add a fun, contemporary edge to their branding, and we love the versatility they offer in terms of design and illumination.
